KUALA LUMPUR: Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Open Re Sdn Bhd (OpenRE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions to meet Malaysia's rising energy demands and accelerate its renewable energy goals.
Together with OpenRE, we aim to strengthen Malaysia's energy-storage value chain so that more industries can access reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy management solutions,” said Chong Chern Peng, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia, Digital Power Business.
