The project will comprise a grid-scale BESS with a total discharge capacity of around 400MW.
“The Wellington BESS will contribute towards supporting Australia's journey towards a more sustainable and reliable energy future,” said RJE Global in a statement. The project sits within the Dubbo Regional Council LGA and is part of broader efforts to boost storage infrastructure as renewable penetration increases across the NEM.
It is also designed to support the integration of variable renewable energy and help reduce wholesale electricity volatility. “The Wellington BESS will contribute towards supporting Australia's journey towards a more sustainable and reliable energy future,” said RJE Global in a statement.
I object to this Battery Energy Storage System because it is a part of the fake green RenewaBULL Energy Transition - that is the most scandalous, idiotic rip-off of Australian people that I have every seen in 6 decades!
In operation, the project will be one of the largest battery storage projects in NSW and will contribute to the overall storage capacity and reliability of the National Electricity Market (NEM).
